Lankenau Hospital, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital and Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital have formed the Main Line Health Stroke
Program. The Program consists of several components: stroke prevention, education and screening, treatment of those with stroke and rehabilitation.
The objectives of the Stroke Program are to:
-
Establish standards of care, based on best practices, uniformly at each hospital
-
Improve clinical outcomes
-
Increased patent and practitioner satisfaction with stroke care
-
Educate the community in symptom recognition and the importance of emergent care
Our three acute care hospitals--Lankenau, Bryn Mawr and Paoli--function as 24-hour, 7-day a week resources for the acute treatment
of stroke in the communities we serve. Each hospital ensures that stroke treatment is instituted quickly so that state-of-the-art
care can be delivered. As well, Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital in Malvern, PA provides an array of services to help people who have
