Extended Home Care is provided on a fee for service basis, for clients who do not qualify for home health under insurance guidelines or who desire services that exceed insurance coverage limits. Generally, you have to pay for these services privately, or “out of your pocket”. 

Some long-term care insurance plans cover personal care services in the home. If you have a long term care insurance plan, we can assist you in determining if it will reimburse you for Extended Home Care services.

Weekly bills reflect the actual days of the week and hours worked by Extended Care staff. The bill is prepared from information contained on employees’ time slips. Clients should review the time slips before signing them each week.

Please take note, the following days will be billed at time and a half : New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.
