Hospice care is provided by a dedicated team of health care professionals and trained volunteers. Team members help manage the patient’s symptoms and pain, and provide emotional and spiritual support.

Families are strongly encouraged to participate, both in the patient’s care and in caring for their own emotional and spiritual needs. Bereavement support is offered for a year after the loss of a loved one.
